Week 10

Well she'll be 10 weeks old tommorrow or 2 1/2 months. Still my gorgeous girl. Can scream for scotland and take worse moods than me (thats saying something) but she can also has brilliant times just as much. She now loves to watch people and smile and is starting to take an interest in toys. She is definately a 'baby' now not just a sleeping crying lump lol. She goes to baby massage on mondays and mummy and baby lunch group on wednesdays and grans house on thursdays. She spends ALOT of time with her mammy, her aunty susan and ruaridh. The song 'Beautiful Monster' fits her perfectly. Its annoying having to watch her for ages whilst she SSCCRREEAAMMSS, change her nappies, stuff like that but worth it when shes in a good mood cause then shes soooo adorable and cute and amazing (takes after her big sis you see),

dont know why i bother writing in here - nobody reads it or care - and i always forget to write in here aswell - oh well might just leave it

Week 7

Cant be bothered writing much, basically Amber is now 7 weeks 2 days old. She has now perfected a beautiful smile but bring out a camera to capture it and she screams. It takes alot to make her smile but its worth it when she does. She now weighs nearly 11lb and is making baby friends at the 'mother and baby group' with Mummy, Aunty Susan and Ruaridh on Wednesdays. I have now met basically all the family and friends. She also has fantastic head control and can hold up for head for 10 minutes at a time and is beggining to reach out for toys and stuff. Day 13

Well, today Ambers birth was announced in the local newspaper; the 'Dunfermline Press', it read:

SUTHERLAND
Sharon and Shaun are pleased to announce the safe arrival of Amber Rose on the 13th August 2010. A wee sister for Kerri and Daniel. Thanks to everyone involved in her safe arrival.

It was a total rip-off to pay for though - £10 then add on an extra £1 for every word. Jeez. But things have been good, Amber went to her brother and fathers karate club, her fathers work, her brothers school and to the hospital she was born to say hi to the people who helped my mum when she was pregnant and to her brothers Cubs, everywhere she goes people flock around commenting on her lovely hair or asking how old she is, i dont blame them she is gorgoeus, two weeks old tommorrow,

time has gone so unbelievably fast doesnt feel like two weeks at all, but when i try to imagine life without her i cant, when it was me and daniel it was how it always was but looking back things feel incomplete just two of us, it feels like she has always been here but time has flown - she already a fortnight old,

anyway its late and amber is sleeping so goodnight all, love you princess, xxx

Day 9

Well the birth of Amber - a planned caeserean was booked for 9am and I was staying with my gran over that night, my aunt and 10-month-old cousin Ruaridh were over and we were just chilling, sitting about, we went to the shops, etc, but after a while when it was after noon we began to worry cause my dad had promised to phone asap and her c-section was booked for 9am, but at last at 1.30pm we got a text with a photo of her and shortly after we talked to my dad over the phone, her weight - 9lb 14 1/2 oz (huge baby) and 57 cm, that afternoon we visited her, i was exited as heck but nervous too, walked through the door and she was simply beautiful, lots of amazing dark hair, holding her for the first time i couldnt stop crying, felt like an idiot cause its not like me to get s emotional but she was just breath-takingly beautiful, but within a few hours her blood-sugar was too low so they took her to special care where you arent allowed to pick her up, for the next few days my life revolved around visiting hours 3pm-4pm and 7pm-8pm to visit my mum on the ward and 3.45pm - 4.15pm and 7.45pm - 8.15pm to visit Amber in special care, then on Sunday night we were told they could come home!!!! But they just had to do one test, then another, then another, until before you know we're talking her home after half 1 in the morning, took her home with no fanfare and went to bed lol. Since then all the normal stuff has happened, met most of the family, got lots of cards and presents, been bathed, wore pretty clothes, been registered with the name Amber Rose, etc. And now were to the present day. - ill keep you posted about her changes and acheivements and keep you posted about her life

basically i love her to bits, she is gorgeous, and i love her cuddles, and im going to spoil her rotten, she means the world to me, well ill update you later xxx
